The Visual Analysis and Perception lab is located in Aalborg, Denmark and devoted to basic and applied research within computer vision and AI. The lab was formed in 2011 under the name Visual Analysis of People lab, with a main focus on research in computer vision and AI for automatic analysis of people and their behaviors. As the lab grew, so did the range of different topics/projects the lab was engaged in, and in 2020 this led to a decision of renaming the lab to underline its broader scope.
